‘Grain-free bread’ has been one of the most popular searches that have brought visitors to this blog, and I can understand why many people who are eating low-carb or grain free diets would love this kind of bread!

For everyone looking for grain-free bread, I hope you enjoy this new recipe! It is so easy to make, and is delicious hot out of the oven, or as an accompaniment to any meal. Yum!

Ingredients:
2 ¾ cups blanched almond flour, sifted
¼ teaspoon celtic sea salt
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
½ cup raisins (optional)
2 eggs
2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
pinch of caraway seeds / poppy seeds / sesame seeds
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine almond flour, salt, baking soda and raisins
In a smaller bowl combine eggs, agave and apple cider vinegar
Mix wet ingredients into dry
Place dough on parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet on a baking tray and shape it into a large, flat circle that is 8 inches across and 1 ½ inches tall
Using a serrated knife, score top of dough a half an inch deep in shape of a cross
Sprinkle top of bread with seeds
Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes, then turn off oven and leave bread in for 10 more minutes
Cool bread and serve!
